This is little Noah, if I remember correctly. He was back stage with his mom, dad, and sister. Jack tried to get him come out and play guitar for us, but the poor baby had stage fright. It was the cutest thing I have ever seen.

I think this scene shows how influenced Merida is by her father. I like how Merida’s father is totally for everything his daughter wants to be. Merida wasn’t rebellious or into what she was into just because the story needed her to be that way, she has someone in her life that supports her being this way.
Daughter wants to get involved in archery? Sure, here’s your own bow!
Daughter gets a huge plate of sweets to eat even though it’s improper? So what?
Daughter rejects all the guys that fight for her hand? Well she’s too good for them anyways!
I just like how Merida’s wanting to be independent was an influence, not a trait that’s just there.
